Job Summary
Responsible for performing general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas and support areas as assigned while meeting or exceeding Heatherwood’s quality standards
Qualifications
- Able to provide housekeeping and laundry services in a resident centered environment, which meet or exceed Heatherwood’s quality standards and have a Desire to work with senior
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Competent in organizational, time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following all community procedures and guidelines and having the ability to follow through on assigned tasks, and demonstrates initiative
- Ability to perform tasks with frequent interruptions

Job Summary
Repair and general maintenance of facility, building, grounds and equipment
Qualifications
- Minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting
- Repairs to walls, floors and ceilings
- Occasionally install dishwasher, garbage disposal, electric stove etc.
- Operate and work safely with power tools and various equipment
- Plow experience a plus
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Must be able to pass background check
- Job Description
- In an eight hour work day employee must be able to stand for 8 hours and walk 6 hours per day
- Frequently perform the following functions:
- Bend/Stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level, push/pull and lift
- Carries up to 50 pounds
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with their peers
- Be able to follow oral and written instructions as advised
- Adhere to company policy and procedures
- Read and complete written report of problems or necessary repairs and forward to the Director of environmental services
